The Spider
Also known as crableaning backhands-behind
The Spider has both partners seated facing each other, leaning back on their hands with hips meeting in the middle — a mutual-control position with a full view of each other.
The gist
Both partners sit and lean back on their hands, legs interlocking so the hips meet centrally. Neither is fully on top, so control is shared and the pace is naturally slower. The reclined angle gives a wide-open view and lets both rock into a shared rhythm.
Step by step
Both sit facing each other and lean back onto their hands.
Bring your hips together in the middle, legs overlapping.
Rock toward each other in a shared, gentle rhythm.
Use your arms to control how much you lean and press.
Tips
- It's a core workout — take breaks and use cushions behind you to lean on.
- Since control is shared, talk through who's driving the rhythm.

Scissoring
Scissoring is a position where partners interlace their legs and press together for mutual, non-penetrative genital contact — a favorite for grinding-style pleasure.
