Age Verification Policy
How we confirm you are an adult, and where stronger verification is required.
1. The access gate
To create an account you must declare your date of birth and affirm that you are at least 18 (or the age of majority in your region, if higher) and that you consent to adult content. This self-attestation is recorded with your account, along with the policy version you accepted.
2. Verified creators (explicit publishing)
To publish explicit content to a public surface, you must additionally pass an identity check: you upload a government ID (and optionally a selfie), which a reviewer checks before granting the capability. These images are encrypted, accessible only to authorized reviewers, never shown publicly, and every access is logged. This supports our recordkeeping obligations for publicly published adult content.
3. Stronger verification by region
Some regions require age assurance stronger than self-attestation for adult content. Where required, additional verification will be requested before those features are available in that region, and some features may be unavailable pending it.
