Position

The Corkscrew

Also known as stacked sideside rear-entrytwist spoon

The Corkscrew is a side-lying rear-entry position with the legs stacked and pressed together — snug, cozy, and low-effort, with a tighter, closer feel than spooning.

The gist

Close cousin of spooning, but with the receiving partner's legs held together and both bodies stacked toward the edge of the bed. Keeping the legs closed creates a snugger, more contained sensation while the whole position stays relaxed and easy to hold.

Step by step

  1. Both partners lie on their sides, the receiving partner in front.

  2. The receiving partner keeps their legs together and slightly curled.

  3. The other nestles close behind at a slight angle.

  4. Press together and find a slow, gentle rhythm.

Tips

  • Legs-together makes for a snugger fit — a little lubrication keeps it comfortable.
  • It's low-energy and cozy, perfect for a sleepy, unhurried mood.
